Cooking Classes

Adult Classes:

Adult Cooking ClassesHaving a hard time getting going in the kitchen? Want to be more innovative or try out a new cuisine? Need to find something different to do for an office event? Trying to get your kids interested in cooking? Chef Jess can help.

Classes are available in your home or hers.

Classes in your home begin with a menu consultation, where you and Chef Jess create a menu based on a culinary theme or skill. You gather up to 7 of your friends and Chef Jess arrives with all the groceries, recipe handouts and supplies.

She will demonstrate, instruct and work with everyone to prepare your meal. After all of your hard work, you and your friends sit down to share the fruits (and veggies) of your labor! Prices vary, depending on menu.

Chef Jess offers scheduled seasonal classes in her home kitchen. During classes, skills, recipe interpretation and recipe variations will be discussed.

Classes end with a generous tasting of all creations and you will go home with a menu and all recipes you have enjoyed during your class.

Classes are approximately 2.5 hours. Minimum class size is 4 people. Most classes are $55 per person.

A schedule will be emailed to you upon request.

Children's Classes:

Kid's CkassesKid’s classes focus on either a skill or cuisine, and are age appropriate. In class, discussions will include safety topics, seasonality, and the particular cuisine.

Classes are 1.5 hours and include time to taste all the treats. Your child will go home with recipes and a “homework” assignment, to cook one of the dishes for your family!

Cooking Classes also make a great birthday party for any age child; goodie bags are provided!

Kid’s classes run from $25 to $35 per child, depending on menu. There is a 4--child minimum for a class to occur.
